Last Tutorials

Hey all,

For those of you who could not make it: in the last two tutorials we discussed animation films and covered last minute questions regarding the final exams. The animation films discussion was based on clips only, so there are no slides. As I mentioned in the last tutorial, I will take the blog offline on Monday.

I had fun with you guys during this year. Good luck to you all, not only for your final exam but also during the rest of your studies.

I hope you all are having a great reading week. For those of you who missed the last tutorial: I gave individual feedback on essay proposals throughout the tutorial, so no slides. If you missed the tutorial you might want to talk to me about your essay proposal and your thesis statement in particular soon since the assignment is coming up quickly.

Greetings, everyone.

Since York is closed today due to the weather, the official policy is to put the essay in the drop box in the film department as soon as the university is open again. After that, the 5% penalty will kick in. Please do not send me your proposals via email.

Essay Proposal

Happy New Year to all of you. I know the year is not that new anymore but I hope it is still happy.

I have posted the assignment for your critical essay proposal. Start thinking about the question that you would like to write about. We won't have much time to discuss the assignment on Wednesday, but we will definitely talk about it next week in detail. That will still give you enough time to write the proposal.
